In many ways, music is the definition of society and foundation of our existence. Music can be seen not only as a poetic medium, a fine art but also a great source of entertainment. Presently, there are several music genres present to entertain audiences for all tastes, including pop, hip hop, jazz, metal, punk, country and folk. Generally, country and folk music are considered to feature genuine and true expressions, which is why their concert tickets are always in high demand.

Although, similar in type and sharing the same grounds of rural existence, country and folk music are quite different genres. Based largely in traditional folk tunes, country and folk music revolves around the difficulties of country life, the troubles of farmers, and folk hero legends. It makes heavy use of stringed instruments such as mandolins, fiddles, banjoes and guitars.

Folk music is considered to have provided roots for the basis of later developed genres including rock and roll, jazz, rhythm and blues. Some of the most popular musicians emerged from this traditional form of music genre are Woody Guthrie, Joan Baez and Bob Dylan among others. Whereas country music consists of a Nashville sound, western swing and blue grass sounds, also honky tonk. The top solo artists produced by this genre and celebrated around the globe are Garth Brooks and Elvis Presley.

Both these genres are widely accepted and appreciated by people in all ages. Country and folk music is popular worldwide, especially in the southern areas of U.S.  There are ample festivals and concerts that feature country and folk music as both genres supply excellent sounds to dance. Fans flock in huge numbers from around the globe to attend and enjoy these concerts, hence country and folk tickets remain in high demand throughout the year.
